This beautiful set of three nesting tables, crafted from Coachwood and what appears to teak by the Melbourne-based firm Kalmar Furniture, highlights the enduring appeal of these premium timbers. Drawing inspiration from the iconic designs of G-Plan Furniture, Kalmar elevated the concept with their distinct craftsmanship, as showcased in the set’s graceful curves and circular forms.
Produced during the 1960s, these tables reflect a rare style and attention to detail. The limited production was a result of the intricate work and expense involved, making such pieces truly exceptional.
These tables are in very good original condition. Some minor surface scratches on the large coffee table and a black mark to one side. The smaller tables are in good condition with no damage to report.
